About me

I was born on Prince Edward Island and studied at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton and McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario.

I have a Master's degree in Classics, the pursuit of which taught me to think, but otherwise has proved rather impractical in modern life. Even so, I've enjoyed a fruitful career helping people deal with challenges in their day to day lives.

When I'm not writing, I can often be found walking the trails along the Niagara Escarpment, getting coffee with my wife or just chilling at home.

My first publication, A Traded Secret, was in Julie Czerneda's Tales from Plexis (Daw, 2018). I've also published a short story collection, Corporate Dystopias, available exclusively on Amazon.

Lancet is my first novel.
